Application and registration

Applications
The application process begins with a Free Registration Consultation with an Earthtone representative.  We invite interested new students to the studio for short tour of our facility and answer any further questions regarding our programs.  At that time, we present our registration forms and accept registration fees.

We offer a Free Introductory Lesson to all new registered students.  Our priority is to establish rapport in a one on one learning environment so that every student, at any level, is comfortable and excited about learning music.

We accept ALL interested students and acceptance to our programs begins with the student’s personal involvement in the decision to enroll.

Registration
The first and last month’s tuition along with an annual registration fee is required for students enrolling for the first time in private and group lessons.  Fees for ensembles and session workshops are collected prior and up to the start date of any particular class.  The registration process is the same for all programs.

Annual Registration Fee
Registration fees are assessed to cover basic operation costs such as instrument maintenance and instructional supplies needed to ensure the quality experience we provide.  Registration fees are required upon enrollment and assessed to continuing students enrolling for instruction in the Fall at the end of our year in June.

Studio Autopay
Studio Autopay is our EFT (electronic funds transfer) program we have established for convenient tuition payments.  Our registration form provides us with the information for our Studio Autopay system and includes a confidentiality agreement that ensures the security of financial information provided.

Withdrawal from our program requires a thirty day notice in writing on our school form.  Upon receiving notice of withdrawal the last month’s tuition is credited at that time.

Family Discounts
Families with one student enrolled in our private instruction program at the regular tuition fee will receive 10% off the tuition for each additional student enrolled in private lessons.  This discount is reserved for our private lesson program only.

Tuition

Monthly Tuition Schedule
Monthly tuition is based on an average of the number of lessons in our academic year in relation to the day a weekly lesson is scheduled.  As our studio is closed for major holidays, some months have 3 Wednesdays, for instance, some months have 5.  Most months have 4.  Tuition for months that have 5 lessons is the same for months with 3.

Group Lessons
Tuition for group lessons is also based on a monthly payment schedule covering the identical schedule as individual private lessons.  Group lessons are limited to 3 students and **tuition for each student is the same regardless of age.

Session courses
Tuition for Sessions are based on a flat fee and varies depending on the course and duration scheduled for any particular course offered in our studio.  We ask for a $25.00 refundable pre-registration fee paid in advance of the start date to hold a student’s space in a class.  Once a class time and start date is confirmed the tuition balance minus the original $25 is due a the first class meeting.

Tuition fees generally do not include instruction materials, unless otherwise specified.
