Earthtone School of Music

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT/AUDIO RECORDING

Our entire program is designed to direct each student toward experiences and opportunities for music expression.  We provide the stage for anyone interested to take what they’re learning and give it to the world!  All students are encouraged to participate in our ensemble workshops & recitals.  Advanced students are given an opportunity to be involved in the production and development of their music into real CD’s and MP3’s that can be shared with friends and family or used for career opportunities!

Our students have a “real world” experience as music students.  Our annual student recitals provide the experience of preparing repertoire for solo and ensemble performances.

  • Annual recitals
All students are encouraged to participate in our recitals.  This gives our students the opportunity to experience preparation and coaching for performing.  As repertoire is prepared for solo and ensemble performances, each student can become familiar with the intensity of the performance experience.
  • Ensembles
Our ensembles are groups directed by qualified staff members in which students in private lessons on different instruments can apply their skills in a band setting. These are also “session” classes and are geared toward our annual recital performances.

The Audio Recording Process
We offer the tools of our State of the Art recording studio specifically to facilitate the advanced student’s experience in the music studio & recording environment.  The recording experience is unique and very different from the live performance experience because of the nature of the music recording process.  Demonstration recordings, or, “demo’s”, are produced with assistance by Earthtone School of Music’s director and can be used to further a student’s educational and career opportunities.

This experience is included in the tuition for our private lessons; however, typically begins at an advanced stage of a student’s development.  Time spent on developing demos in the recording studio typically happens during the time scheduled for lessons.

Earthtone Productions LLC (ETP)
Our company is the parent organization by which Earthtone School of Music operates.  We are working toward becoming a recognized corporation in the music industry for the excellence in the music we produce and the artists we develop.  ETP is an independent record label and production company serving the community by offering professional opportunities for musicians and coaches, producers and audio engineers, and music students as artists who wish to explore the opportunities ETP can provide.

Our production division provides an opportunity for showcasing an artist’s talent for public performance.  Bands and Albums are produced on a professional level and artists are offered professional contracts for representation by Earthtone Productions.   ETP will work together with the artist and their families to provide professional opportunities in the music industry and further an artist’s growth and performance preparation.

Students are encouraged to continue music studies within our regular programs. However, the focus and direction is intensified to produce results that will reflect their professional artistry for performance opportunities in public.

We offer students opportunities for extensive musical development. The programs at Earthtone School of Music are designed to ensure that music students who wish to pursue their dreams as professional performers or go on to programs in higher education have a competitive edge.  The experience provided gives our students and artists confidence and pride in their musical skills.  From our ensembles and workshops to awards incentives, recitals and professional opportunities, we provide students with the information to develop a solid foundation for future musical growth and professional experience.  Our programs will have a lasting impact on all our students and we guarantee a positive experience the student will always remember.
